Medical Expenses for Jimbo

As many of you know, on August 9th Jimbo had a massive stroke and was air flighted from St. Pat’s in Lake Charles to Ochsner’s in New Orleans where he has now been for seven weeks. Upon arriving at Ochsner’s he had to undergo surgery to remove part of his skull due to the brain swelling. Since surgery there has not been much change in his condition, but he still needs time for the brain to heal and for him to begin following commands on his own before any sort of rehabilitation can take place. Per his insurance, his options are to go into a nursing home (which they do not cover) or go home until he is capable of doing rehabilitation. It has been decided that Jimbo will come home, but he will need around the clock care. Paige is going to need help. So, we are looking to help alleviate some medical expenses for her so she can focus on caring for Jimbo. If you are able to help financially, it will be such a blessing as well as a burden lifted off of Paige during such a hard and stressful time.
