Saving Sawyer

Hi my name is Donna Graham, I'm raising money to try and pay my sweet cat Sawyer's vet bill. He means so much to my kids and me. He's only 6 years old, we've had him since he was a tiny kitten. On August 16, 2023, he collapsed. He had crystals which is a blockage of the urinary tract, it is deadly to cats that don't receive care in time. I got Sawyer to Veterinary Specialty Hospital - West (VSS) in time to save his life. The vet said it was one of the worst blockages she had ever seen. Sawyer had not let on to us that he was sick. He stayed at the hospital receiving fluids and life-saving medical treatment for 4 days. He's still not out of the woods, but he's doing much better. He will need special food and vet care for a while. I was able to pay VSS $1,500 with a CareCredit card to get him the emergency medical care he needed to save his life. A friend loaned me $342 so I could bring him home on August 19th. We needed him home and I know he needed to be home with us. I am on disability, I have a very limited income. I have 6 months to pay carecredit back. I already know that I can't do it, but I had to save him, Sawyer is a part of our family and we love him so much. If you have a pet that you love, you would do whatever it took to try to bring your pet home. Their life is too short as it is.
