Missionaries Phil and Rachel Frasier New Car Fund

Hello friends! My name is Joseph Frasier and I want to share with you a need that has been on me and my wife's heart for some time.  Let me give you a little backstory...

These are my wonderful parents, Phil and Rachel Frasier, who have been missionaries to the Philippines for over 20 years.

My parents first went to the Philippines in 1992 and moved to their current location in 1995.  The house they currently are in is the actual house that my mom grew up in as a little girl.

Throughout this time, my parents went from starting a church in our backyard, hosting local bible clubs and VBS for kids to purchasing a church property and starting a children's orphanage.  God has truly blessed them in their many years of service and He continues to bless them even further with 5 orphans now!  They have plans to continue to grow their ministry and do whatever the Lord calls them to do for the foreseeable future.

So why is there a picture of an old van?  Glad you asked!  This has been their trusty van since they originally purchased it in early 2000.  This is a 1999 Hyundai Starex van (a van model sold in Asia) with over 200k kilometers on it. (120k+ miles).  It has a 4 cylinder engine with around 90 or so horsepower in it. (For comparison, a Dodge Caravan has around 170hp and has a 6 cylinder engine)

This van has transported hundreds of kids and adults back and forth throughout the Philippines.  Whether it has been trips up the steep mountains to Baugio City to youth camps in the further areas of Laguna.  It has survived being sideswiped by a bus, having its water tank blow, having an engine rebuilt and many other repairs done during its 20+year tenure.  It has pretty much received a transplant of all it's internals besides the transmission (which hopefully won't go out any time soon).

This van has received its refurbished new body and is long overdue to be on its way to Paradise.  The Lord has been extremely faithful in keeping it running these many years but we know my parents could use a newer less squeakier and more reliable vehicle.

By raising $20,000, we would be able to purchase a newer (2014-2017) Hyundai Starex or similar van there in the Philippines that can replace this one.

I realize this is a lot of money to be raised.  Whatever amount we are able to raise will help my parents tremendously as they have focused putting their resources to grow the ministry rather than purchase a newer vehicle.  They believe the Lord will provide for their needs and will continue to use their vehicle as much as they can.  I ask that you consider giving this holiday season in whatever capacity you can and if you are unable to give, to please share this with others!  I know God can do great things through His people and use this platform to provide for those who dedicate their lives to His service.

Thank you for taking the time to read, if you have any questions about their ministry or about this campaign, feel free to reach out to me at [email redacted].
