Let’s give Sweet Caroline a boost!

This is Fredi Reed, Caroline's cousin.

On November 27, 2021, Caroline had a seizure and a right temporal lobe tumor was found. She underwent a craniotomy to remove the tumor.

The pathology revealed a very rare cancer Histiocytic Sarcoma.

Caroline underwent radiation and began her healing process.

September 29, 2022, her MRI revealed that Caroline had developed Drop metastasis. (Intradural extramedullary spinal metastases that arise from intracranial lesions. This rare complication occurs in about 1% of patients who have glioblastoma multiforme.)

She underwent another round of radiation.

Caroline had an appointment on 12/14/202 with her radiation oncologist.

The news was not great.

Caroline needs more radiation treatments because the MRI is showing more spots on her brain.

The doctors are going to use the cyber knife radiation.

She will have 5 treatments and will also take the chemo pill.

During this time Caroline has been unable to work. She is a single woman who supports herself.

She receives some benefits, but not very much.

I am reaching out on her behalf to see if we can’t help her meet some of her expenses.
