Hailey Strong For a Paws

Hailey Strong For a Paws is an organization formed last year to raise money for Hailey Giguere, a teen from Windsor, CT, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was 15 months old. Hailey has been through numerous operations, and many years ago one of them left her partially paralyzed on her right side.
Now she and her family would like to get a service dog to help her with balance, retrieval of dropped items, etc. These helpers must be selected and trained from infancy specifically for an individual's needs. Thus, the cost for a service dog can be between $10,000 and $25,000.
Last year we were able to raise over $2,400 toward that goal. This year, we would like to raise the remaining amount through this site and at our 3v3 soccer tournament that will be taking place on Saturday, May 14th, 2016 at Windsor High School, in honor of Hailey.
