Help Lindsay get well

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Lindsay and I am sitting here writing this with a heavy heart today. For the past 4 years I have been struggling with my failing health. I received the first of my diagnosis in March of 2020 at the start of of the pandemic after seeing a doctor for pain in my abdomen, a very swollen foot and severe fatigue that had me too exhausted to get through most days. I was told I had Hashimoto’s disease, Hypothyroiditis and ovarian cysts. I was put on medication and told I would feel much better soon but unfortunately, that was just the beginning of this painful journey. I tried several medications and just became more sick. I developed a chronic rash that resembles shingles and covers most of my body and does not respond to steroids. I continued seeking any treatment I could find and following the advice of my doctors. I was later diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Carpal Tunnel, Reynauds disease among other autoimmune conditions. Along with paying out of pocket for integrative and naturopathic doctors (costing me my entire savings and 600$ plus a month just for supplements, medications, labs, testing and treatments, I was left feeling more sick than ever.

Since that time, I have tried to find ways to continue doing what I love the most. I love being a mom to my 4 year old daughter, Sage and I love to sing. My family, music and friends are everything to me. For awhile, I was able to keep it up and being able to perform and connect with people through music was such a driving force in what kept me going. I just kept on trying to pretend everything was fine and power through it until a month ago when it all came crashing down. I had a second tooth abscess in under 6 months and had to have it removed along with another tooth due to underlying infection. I was told by my dentist that I am in urgent need of more dental work on my front teeth or I could lose them shortly if the infection persists. I was quoted a price I can’t possibly pay and I am unable to work as I can not sing with the healing extractions on top of my illness. My bills are adding up and I had to spend my last paycheck on my dental emergency. It breaks my heart to say I can’t even play with and look after my daughter most days. I would definitely not be here now if not for the incredible friends and family I have in my life and I just want to get back to being there for them and being able to sing again and get after my dreams.

I am writing this to ask for help. I will be using anything that’s donated towards my dental bills, medical expenses and treatments to finally get my life back and get back to being there for my loved ones. I have to have three procedures on my teeth and further testing as to the cause of my chronic rash and symptoms as well as subsequent treatments and medications.
