Support Sheila's healing journey after a tragic brain aneurysm
My name is Elizabeth Archer, and I'm reaching out to ask for support for my incredible aunt-in-law, Sheila. On July 20th, Sheila Simino-Kleinpeter suffered a life-threatening ruptured brain aneurysm while shopping at a local grocery store. She was immediately taken to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, where she had emergency brain surgery. Sheila remains in critical condition but is pushing through like the fighter she is. Sheila will stay in the Critical Care Unit for the next month, followed by a lengthy recovery period.
Sheila and her husband, Kevin, have been an active part of the Lincoln community for over 30 years. Anyone who knows Sheila knows what a kind and loving person she is. Hard work and helping others define who Sheila is. Even through this traumatic experience, she still has her spunky, bigger-than-life personality and has the nurses making her favorite non-alcoholic mimosas. It's the little things that keep her going!
Now, we can, as a community, help her. Unfortunately, Sheila will be unable to work for an unknown amount of time. In addition, her health coverage ended three weeks before her health crisis. We're humbled in asking for financial assistance for Sheila and Kevin. Money raised will help with expenses, including the mounting medical bills. We appreciate all the love and support so many have shown to the family and Sheila. We cannot thank you enough for considering supporting her financial needs at this difficult time.
