Mountain Air Community Cares About Our Staff

Mountain Air Property Owners and Club Members are raising funds for over 50 dedicated employees who have been DEVASTATED by Helene. Some have lost EVERYTHING. For years they have taken care of us. HELP us take care of them. They are part of our FAMILY. We know you want to HELP so we are asking all to GIVE as generously as possible.

Money, net of GoFundMe fees will be given directly to recipients.

Approximately 1/2 of the proceeds will be given equally to full time employees and contractors, however part-time employees and contractors will receive proportionally reduced amounts based on the estimated hours spent working on the Mountain.

The remaining proceeds will be given based on extraordinary service to the Mountain during and after Hurricane Helene and demonstrated uninsured need caused by Hurricane Helene. The recipients and amounts will be determined by a group of Mountain Air homeowners and members following a nomination and/or application process.

The first category of funds should be sent by 10/22/2024 and the remainder will be distributed by 12/31/24 at latest. Jeff Morrill will handle the distribution of the proceeds with assistance from the POA and Club personnel.
