In memory of Sarah Montgomery

As a local girl who knew Sarah and her daughters, and in response to the huge outpouring of grief in the community about Sarah's tragic death, myself - Joanne Courney and Cllr Mark Brooks have set up a Go Fund Me page to give everyone the opportunity to support Sarah's family especially her two beautiful daughters - Amelia and Scarlett. The events of this weekend have brought the community and indeed a wider circle to its devastated knees .

Sarah was a popular girl who would never pass you without a smile or a chat.

Amelia and Scarlett adored their mummy but have now been robbed of the nurture and love to guide them as they growing young women.

Grandparents Arthur and Edith are now left bereft of the care and support Sarah always gave them and her two brothers.

In the midst of what has now become a murder enquiry, Amelia and Scarlett will never get to know their unborn baby brother whose life was also cut short in this tragic incident,

Donations will not ease the pain that this family will have to live with forever, but, as a close knit community, we are keen to show them that they are so loved and supported at this sad time and in the days,months and years to come .

Violence against women will not be tolerated in our community. We must stand together to ensure that this will never happens again !!!
