Four years ago I announced to friends and family that I was ready to make an album. It felt like an ask from the ground up, as nature seems to be reclaiming me with its reaching arms and many voices and the demand for art feels strong and real.

The funds raised covered my airfare to get to Adelaide, Australia, where my dear friend and soul brother, Mike Kirkham, received me in his fabulous home studio and among his beautiful family in the Adelaide hills. For three months we workshopped ten tracks of my original songs with a band of his friends that I call Shayla and the Dads.

Mike and I did this with the insistence that recording music is a vibration that ripples out. We wanted our offering to be one of joy and friendship. A walking prayer in celebration of the beauty of this planet. We took regular Uno breaks and had cartwheel practice often on the lawn of Mike and Sarah's gorgeous cherry orchid.

I am pleased to announce that this album is called, On The Ground. And is in its final stage of production, to be released this Spring, 2026!
