Elderly Women Taken Advantage Of. Needs of Help!
Donation protected
This is Meryn; she's a 74-year-old quadriplegic. This fundraiser has been created to cover life-saving medications and aides. Her mom died in April of 2015, and her father followed in June of the same year, leaving his inheritance to Meryn's only surviving relative, his sister-in-law (Meryn's Aunt). Sadly Meryn's Aunt met the same fate and passed away in March of 2016, leaving as an executive of her will, her home attendant believing that she would carry on her last wishes accordingly and distribute the funds to her niece. With the passing of Meryn's father and Aunt, Meryn has been left alone with no more family to reach out to and only her aides, that have been with her through it all. Unfortunately, the funds left behind have yet to be distributed according to Meryn's late Aunt's last wishes left behind in her will, leaving Meryn running out of money to pay for her medical and living expenses. This situation has become critical, leaving Meryn unable to pay even for her living arrangements causing her to be on the brink of homelessness. We are asking for emergency help; anything would be appreciated. We have reached out to the New York Post to bring attention to the injustices that have occurred, and they wrote an article about our sweet Meryn. We'll put the link below; please share this story! https://nypost.com/2023/04/01/execs-2-million-estate-wasted-as-disabled-niece-waits/
