Family and Friends of Troy,
As some of you may or may not know, Troy has been bravely fighting multiple forms of stomach cancer for nearly 2 months. He was diagnosed soon after we celebrated and brought in the New Year. When he told our family the news we gathered as a united front and truly believed that with the love and support of one another we would all battle this together. His drive and strength convinced us all that everything would be ok. Unfortunately, nobody is ever really prepared to fight such a daunting disease.
The reality now is that his body is deteriorating. At his request we have been caring for him at home and simply put, just trying to make him as comfortable as possible until God calls his name. At this time we are asking for your donations. Any and all funds generated will be used for accruing medical expenses and funeral costs. Please keep Tina,Troy’s beautiful wife and partner for the past 25 years in your prayers. She has not left his side once during this process and sadly she will soon be losing her best friend. We want to make things as seamless as possible for her in the end.
It pains us to face the fact that we will soon be losing a great heart and caring soul. However, let us all find solace in the beautiful memories we have all shared with him. Remember him in his best of times, whether that was enjoying a divine glass of wine over the tall tales of life or listening to him belt out a high note over the mesmerizing guitar coords of the latest song he wrote. Remember him for his creativity and the alluring paintings he would create, remember his need for his speed and the joy he felt when driving his Ducati up and down the coast. Remember his curiosity and the endless books he would read. Remember him for his spiritual work and how he helped you overcome personal blockades and brought you closer to God and the light in which he radiated. But, most of all just remember him and the impression he made on your life. Your love and prayers during this time are a blessing to our family and we thank you.
