A few years ago, my life changed when I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. It started subtly—a small tremor in my finger as I stood by the window of my farmhouse. I hoped it was nothing, but the symptoms slowly progressed, and I had to face a new reality head-on.
Since then, I’ve made the conscious choice to put many things I love aside to focus on healing. Parkinson’s is a slow-progressing neurological disease, and I’ve embraced every natural tool I can—daily meditation, learning more about the needs of my body, working with a compassionate naturopath, and incorporating high-intensity, high-energy workouts to support my brain and mobility.
