PLEASE HELP ME BURY MY MOTHER
Donation protected
My mother passed away from Covid-19 this pass Friday, December 18th at 12:37am. My heart is truly broken. I am asking for your help to bury her and for assistance with my travels to get to Cleveland and return to Texas. I have to have the payment by December 30th to be able to bury her on January 2, 2021.
In January, of this year, my mother got both of her legs amputated because there were complications with her type 1 diabetic condition. In March, she went into a coma because her kidneys were failing...right when the pandemic hit. My siblings opted to put her on dialysis and she recovered. I was then put in the position to be her POA. By this time, my mother needed around the clock care. I had to make a hard decision to put her in a nursing home because I couldn't provide her with the space or the care she needed and all I wanted was for her to be as safe as possible. This pandemic made me lose everything and I had to make sure she at least had the care she needed. In August, I made the decision to move to Texas in spite of the pandemic with the hope of finding a job and securing a place to live so my mom could come live with me. I never got that opportunity.
I am planning all the arrangements on my own. This is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life! My mother did not have any type of insurance due to her pre-existing conditions so everything has to be paid out of pocket. This Christmas I am completely alone. My father passed in 2016 of lung cancer and now my mother has passed of Covid-19.https://www.facebook.com/mahasha.reese https://www.instagram.com/iammahasha
Helping me during this very hard emotional time would mean the world to me and it will let me know I am not alone in this. Every donation will help me get closer to the goal of honoring my mothers wishes of providing a simple viewing to where all those who loved my mother can say good-bye and a burial where she can rest in peace.
I truly appreciate your helping hand at this difficult time. Thank you all.
