Challenge Grant for Quincy
Quincy’s recovery continues – it’s hard work, but she keeps at it! With help from a standing frame, she can even stand for short periods now.
At this point, Quincy is eager to be out in the world more. To make sure that happens, a group of friends from her beading classes with Marty Meade are offering a $10,000 matching grant to help Quincy buy a vehicle that fits her and wheel chair in safety and comfort. This means any and all contributions up to $10K through August 31st will be doubled – so now is the perfect time to show your support for Quincy!
To double your gift, you can donate through this Go Fund Me page, or through IN SPIRIT, the wonderful non-profit organization that manages a special fund for Quincy. (IN SPIRIT stands for In Support of Paralytics in Real Intense Time, and donations through IN SPIRIT are tax deductible. Be sure to note “Quincy Seitz fund” on your check.)
To give through IN SPIRIT, send checks to
IN SPIRIT, PO Box 383, Woodacre, CA 94973

Whether you give through Go Fund Me, or through IN SPIRIT, your donation to Quincy will be doubled up through August 31st 2021!
Let’s get Quincy on the road again! And help spread the word about this match to everyone who knows and respects our amazing friend Quincy!
And love and thanks for all your help, thoughts, and best wishes from Quincy and her extended family.
And for those that are just receiving this news, Quincy became ill with Guillain-barre Syndrome in February 2020. She is now at home with a wonderful care giver and is in a power wheel chair. This fund is to help buy a vehicle and to supplement her At Home Care.
The road ahead is long, but she is feeling the love of her community as she courageously faces the reality of her condition. Please forward our campaign as we want to support her to find ways to live independently.
