Hi there ya'll this is a fundraiser for my little sister Yasmin Qadri. At age 27, she was recently diagnosed with Gastroparesis (GP). GP is a debilitating stomach disease that literally means paralysis of the stomach.Most people take for granted being able to wake up every day and sit down to a good meal. Those with GP dont because when your stomach stops working, you lose your ability to eat. The symptoms of this disorder are; Nausea, vomiting, weightloss, severe stomach pain and abdominal distention, heart burn, loss of appetite, gastro reflux. Due to the constant nausea and vomitting, severe complications such as dehydration, malnutrition, and electrolyte imbalances are a constant battle. Imagine having to starve because you physically cannot eat. There is no known cure for Gastroparesis. My sister is still working part time, and has insurance, but she has exhausted her insurance coverage. She has several medical bills and they will keep piling up. I am hoping to reach out to anyone and everyone to help her get to Stanford or Cedars Sinai Medical Centers to seek additional help from doctors who specialize in Gastroparesis. Please help Save my sister.
