What a joy and privilege it is, to support a friend as they learn to feel more at home in their body!

Ari is preparing for top surgery, which is scheduled for January 12, 2026. This is a very exciting time for them, but not without some financial challenges. Insurance will cover much of the cost, but there will be out-of-pocket expenses associated with their surgery. Additionally, Ari will be unable to work during their recovery - expected to be 6 weeks. While they have many supporters ready to help with physical care, dog walks, grocery drops and other day-to-day matters, it would be so amazing to help alleviate the financial burden for Ari. Funds raised here will go toward the cost of the procedure, as well as rent, utilities, and groceries.
