Hi, everyone our dear friend and neighbor Sophia James was diagnosed with Stage 2 Estrogen based breast cancer in November 2015. When Sophia got the news it was overwhelming for herself and her family. She had just beat pancreatic cancer 2 years before this, so dealing with this diagnosis was a lot to take in. Sophia has a husband and 2 beautiful daughters. They are so supportive and are a truly beautiful christian family.
Sophia needs our support in any way. Prayer is the most important support system while she goes through this process.
Sophia had a double mastectomy in January 2016, after that surgery they found cancer in 2/8 lymph nodes pulled. She will be needing chemotherapy for 8-16 sessions. She had her first session last week and has been in and out of the hospital. Since her first session her body went into shock from the chemo and she has been dizzy, has had headaches and head pain with very bad fatigue. Sophia has been in bed since just feeling very weak and tired. She still has many more sessions to go. Her husband works and she cares for her children. Since summer is coming up we wanted to come together and help support this family. Her husband has been by her side and took lots of time off to support her. When he returnes to work she is left to care for her home and children and everything else a wonderful mother and wife does, while going through this fight.
We want to raise money for there family help with a cleaning company for there home so she can heal, yard maintance for there home, so her husband can work and be by her side, and to help provide groceries and funds for bills for there time away from work, sophia has to stop her work while going through the process of chemo, also we want to raise the money to help with care for the children during her sessions and summer child care during her painful after maths. She wont be able to do much as before while going through this chemptherapy and with all the pain it brings.
Any help is appreciated and a BLESSING from the Lord up above, He will give her the strengh to fight through this. Sophia is a fighter and she will overcome this in the name of Jesus!!!
