Help our Family

Mi ama Maria Pineda is one of the strongest persons our lives. She’s been a mother not only my brothers and I but to many of my cousins and friends as well. Though silent and stern she never hesitated to help or offer anything to anyone. She is very compassionate and caring. Mi ama passed away 2/15/23. Mi ama has been battling cancer since 2019. She was diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma in her brain. Since then our lives took a complete turn. It didn’t get easier soon after when COVID hit in 2020. It’s been tough holding a stable job and being extra cautious with her condition. Back in August 2022 they told us there was nothing else they could do and my mum needed our undivided attention, since then we’ve been on and off work. My older brother my dad and I took the time to take care of her, assist her with her day to day, bathe her, everything she needed you name it. We wanted her to be as comfortable as possible her last moments with us. Mi ama Maria has moved on and only gone forward ahead of us, she leaves behind her husband, her sons, grandkids, a lot of family and the many people who’s lives she’s touched. It’s been a tough time emotionally physically and of course financially. I’m asking humbly if anyone can help us financially to get through this time, aside from catching up on bills we plan on having a service and viewing here in the states and then per my mums wishes she’ll be buried back home in Mexico alongside the rest of our family. We also plan to use the funds to allow my dad sometime off work and not worry financially. With transportation, bills, and everything else we’re not really sure how much it will amount to, the goal is not finite, anything is appreciated even a share.
