Stand by Nick

On August 22nd, our son, brother and friend, Nick was unexpectedly hit by an uninsured motorist while driving his moped home from his job. He suffered 2 broken legs, a broken hand, multiple sprains, fractures, bumps and bruises. Thank God he was wearing his helmet. Due to the quick response, incredible ER staff and brilliant surgeon at Lawrence General, Nick is doing as well as can be expected. He endured 6 hours of surgery. For those of you who know him will be happy to hear, he never lost his sense of humor through the whole ordeal.
It is a heartbreaking accident to happen to such a loving, caring, genuinely good person. He works well over 60 hours a week to help support his seven year old son Brayden.
His medical expenses will be great but with our help we are hoping to lessen the burden as well as his everyday ongoing expenses.
Nick will endure a long, painful recovery, and will be unfortunately unable to work for some time.
He is extremely lucky to be alive. Blessed by second chances, we are asking for any amount you can send to help ease Nick’s mind with needless worry.
Please share on Facebook and other social networks wherever you can.
