In March 2023, Chris’s life took an unexpected turn. Without any prior signs, he was rushed into surgery where doctors removed a 10cm mass from his small bowel, which was causing a severe blockage. Test results revealed the devastating news: it was cancer that had spread to his liver and abdominal wall.

Despite undergoing six months of chemotherapy and a brief return to work, the treatment was not effective. Chris had to endure stronger chemotherapy, which took a significant toll on his health. Recently, he received the heart-wrenching news that the chemo has failed again, leading to the removal of his PICC line and leaving him with large tumors. The only option now is a referral to a specialist center, Christies in Manchester.

Chris is a dedicated 44-year-old husband and father of two young children. Despite his struggles, he never complains and continues to face life with remarkable resilience.
