On the 28th of May, We lost a beautiful soul. Merriah was loved by everyone who knew her.... a shining light who was full of love, kindness and laughter.
As we all know, life moves too quickly. Merriah always helped remind us to slow down, enjoy the moment and be thankful for the people that we share our lives with as well as all the beauty that surrounds us.
She was a steward for the environment and a lover of Mother Earth and this passion was evident in all aspects of her life. This bench will serve as a place for all of us to visit and reminisce, as well as a reminder to slow down, enjoy life, and do the things that make us happy. The bench will be in Southampton, NY, on the old Southampton College campus, a place that I believe held a large piece of her heart.
Anything you can give is deeply appreciated. If we surpass our goal, we will donate the remainder of the funds to The California Conservation Corp Foundation or a foundation/charity of her family’s choice.
