Hi, my name is Jessica(Rumler)Kimbrough and Harry Rumler is my dad, my rock and my best friend. He started getting sick with compromised breathing issues the first week of March and has been up and down ever since. Late evening/early morning of April 23 and 24 he was taken to the ER and ultimately ambulanced to OSF where he has been in medical ICU since. We do know he has been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and is currently on the ventilator allowing his body to rest so that medications can hopefully work on some of the inflammation that has settled into his lungs. It’s going to be VERY LONG healing process with lots of days spent at the hospital. My Mama currently is staying over there with him and hopefully will be coming home on weekends to rest and regroup. As we all know, they were a two income household two months ago and now neither are working and hospital food and gas aren’t cheap. So many people have asked what or how they can help and this is one way that will allow my mama to be at his bedside everyday. Keep the prayers coming because right now we need a miracle. His strength is admirable to so many and I’m beyond proud to be able to call him my Dad❤️
