It seems like it will never happen to you... until it does.  Hearing your mom tell you that she has cancer is one of the hardest things that a daughter/son has to hear.  Tina was told that she had Lymphoma in March, 2016.  We had to sit with that terrible news for weeks of not knowing what kind of Lymphoma, and if it was caught early enough.  Luckily, we finally got some results that it hadn't spread anywhere other than the chest, and it was in fact, Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  We started thinking of options and places for her to get treated at, and we figured that U of M would help our mom out the best.  As much as we want our mom to get better, it is hard to look at the cost of treatment/transportation/hospital stays.  With my dad recently starting up a new business on his own and my mom not being able to work, we do not have a lot of support financially.  I am setting this up for my parents because I know that they would never ask anyone for help, but in times like these... Sometimes you have to do everything you can to get some support.  We appreciate the astonishing amount of support and prayers that have been received, and we wish we could say in words how thankful we are for each and every one of you.  I want to thank everyone in advance for every dollar that is donated to help my mom fight this battle, and your effort will not be overlooked.  Let's fight this fight with her!
