Brady Mitchell's Mobility Van Fund
Donation protected
On January 3rd, 2016 my Uncle Brady Mitchell’s Mobility Van was parked on the side of the street in front of his house when another driver lost control in the ice and slammed into his van, demolishing the left rear corner. The driver’s insurance company drug their feet with the claim process, making him go almost a month and a half without a van before finally deeming it a total loss. Once they decided it was a total loss they paid him what they felt his van was worth so that he could use that money to purchase another van. After a lot of searching we have found a new Mobility Van but unfortunately the Insurance Company has left us about $2000.00 short of being able to purchase it.
Brady has Multiple Sclerosis, an incurable disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of nerves resulting in nerve damage which disrupts communication between the brain and the body.
It is so important that Brady have a van in order to get to all of his doctor appointments and Medical treatments necessary to treat this horrible disease. Because he had a van, he was still able to go to church every Sunday and spend holidays with his friends and family. Even if we have a car and license, we still need the van in order to accommodate his wheel chair and transport him.
Any amount that you can donate will help Brady’s well-being and help him keep his independence. Brady and our family greatly appreciate anything you can do to help.
