I am Mohammed from Gaza, we are displaced in the tents of Deir al-Balah city
My father and mother worked hard for 20 years to build our house, but in the blink of an eye it was destroyed
The house was completely destroyed since the first days of the war, and we managed to survive.
We were displaced to Khan Younis, Rafah and Deir al-Balah.
Now, after more than a year of enduring the war, we do not have the luxury of a tent of our own. We share a tent with my uncle's family. We are facing a miserable situation and there is no way to face the difficult circumstances and the disaster that befalls us due to the difficulties of the situation.
We also suffer from a shortage of basic items, the price of 25 kilos of flour is more than 1000 euros, the price of any type of fruit or vegetables is more than 20dollars, I hope to help us with food and drink
I feel deeply saddened by our suffering and the need to reach out to others for help, but we have no other choice.
Getting food for the day has become an unimaginable challenge, due to the lack of money for our basic needs.
The aid that reaches us is relatively limited compared to the suffering that those in need are experiencing.
Every donation is a lifeline for us, and I am very grateful to everyone who has reached out to support us during these difficult times. Every bit of support and every word means a lot to us
This is our house that was destroyed in the first days
This daily suffering we go through
This is how displaced people suffer every time they are displaced
This is the place and condition of the displaced people's tents
