Christmas Miracles do happen

Where do I begin?

"Merry Christmas "has officially taken on a new meaning to me this year.

Many of you know that my little brother, David, has been fighting the battle of his life for several weeks. He has spent the last 3 months in the neuro ICU. Doctors have still not determined where or how he developed a life threatening brain infection. He's had set back after set back. Multiple surgeries, biopsies, and many complications.

Monday, December 19, David had a shunt surgically implanted in his brain that will be a permanent part of him for the rest of his life. Having a foreign object in anyone's body will present potential serious complications moving

forward, but taking life one day at a time, and making the most of this new chapter in life is what David has been mastering these last 9/10 weeks of his life.

Many , many , many prayers have been sent his way. His girlfriend Alexa and his dad have been by his side daily. He's had numerous visitors, specialists, crazy amounts of specialized physician teams , ect.

As of last week, we had absolutely no hope of him leaving the ICU for Christmas.

But, by a legit Christmas miracle, he was moved to another hospital room, a step down from the ICU.

Our family is so grateful, and so amazed at this progress. It truly is remarkable, still in awe!

So now, I'm asking , if it's on your heart and you're able to , I'd love to set this GoGund me page up for David and his girlfriend Alexa. I'm praying this will bless them with financial assistance as they move forward in the next phase of this life altering diagnosis. I'm praying for another Christmas miracle.
