Ivy's Recovery

Hi, my name is Mckenzie and pictured above is my nine year old cat, Ivy. On the 12th of May, she was attacked by two roaming dogs just outside of our home. As a result, Ivy has needed to undergo surgeries and multiple check-up visits with our vets to fix multiple puncture wounds and resulting infections. Mine and my mother's pet insurance has covered a lot of the costs, and we are speaking with the local council to hopefully hold the owner of the dogs responsible, however we have reached our allowed limit for coverage from our insurance and Ivy still requires another surgery to drain the last of her infection and close up the puncture wounds. It is very unlike us to ask for help with these sorts of things, but Ivy is such a precious member of our family and we would hate to see all of our efforts to help her go to waste if we cannot complete her recovery. Ivy is a tough girl, and very lucky to have come this far after such a vicious attack. Please consider helping out with these medical costs so that she can go back to doing what she does best - eating, sleeping, and basking in the sun in our backyard.
