Hello,

Jericho is a 23 y/o horse that has been boarded at the facility for many years. Jericho has developed a severe infection in his face these past two weeks. To have it treated, we tried to reach out to his owner, Ken. After exhausting all our efforts to contact Ken, we started to fear the worst. Sadly, our fears were proven correct when Ken was found deceased in his home this past week. We all mourn his passing.

Unfortunately, Jericho can no longer wait to receive medical care. He will go to the vet as soon as they can get him in. Jericho will need a tooth removed and an infection cleaned out. The low end of the expected cost is $5000. The estimated goal would be if no further issues are found and would cover the cost of the medication he will need to be on after the procedure. Our goal is to help Jericho heal and return to normal. We are currently talking with the family and friends to find a long-term horse retirement facility for Jericho.
