William Byrd was nothing short of unforgettable. With a flair for high end fashion, a signature set of dance moves, and a garden that bloomed as boldly as he lived, William brought color and energy to every space he entered.

He lived unapologetically fierce, fabulous, and full of personality. His sharp wit (and even sharper tongue) made him the kind of person who said what others were only thinking and always with style. Whether he was clutching his latest designer handbag or commanding the dance floor, William was never one to blend in.

William shared a deep bond with his mother, Janet, who was one of his greatest sources of love and friendship before her passing. While family meant many things to him, it was the chosen connections he cultivated throughout his life that brought him the deepest sense of belonging. He gave generously of himself and made sure the people in his life felt seen, accepted, and thoroughly entertained.

A celebration of William’s life will be held on Sunday, September 14th at 3:00 PM at Garden House (2336 15th Avenue South, Seattle, WA)

Dress boldly. Dance freely. And come ready to celebrate the unforgettable life of a truly one of a kind soul.

Any additional funds will be donated in honor of William and his beloved mother, Janet Byrd, to Bellevue Botanical Gardens; a place that reflects their shared love for beauty and nature.
