Help Beau Beat Cancer

After emergency vet visits, regular vet visits, blood tests, ultrasounds, and xrays we found out that Beau had a cancerous mass and a kink on his small intestine. Our hairy, singing boy is only 8 years old.

On May 1st he had surgery to remove the kink, the mass, and surrounding tissue. Pathology on the mass came back that it was indeed adencarcinoma. Intestinal cancer and the cancer cells continued to edge of the removed section meaning regrowth is possible. In addition, this type of cancer has a high chance of metastasizing to other organs if left untreated.

So after a visit to the oncologist in Portland, we learned chemotherapy is what's needed next to give Beau a chance to overcome this diagnosis. The five treatments he would need over the next four months will cost $6000 for just the chemotherapy, not including the scans and bloodwork to monitor any new or re-growth.

We are trying to come up with as much as we can, and are asking for any help to give our handsome, singing Beau hope so he can continue putting smiles on everyone's faces for years to come.
