Sabrina’s medical expenses

Hey All — I wanted to do a shout out & set up this “go fund me” account for somebody quite deserving that has hit a really hard situation!

 

Sabrina is one of my best friends & beyond that — one of those people that blesses people’s lives in a lot of cool ways! She does things to help people in ways that are never public & helps her family so much even though she’s all grown up & moved on.

I can’t say enough about the type of person that she is & what she is willing to do for others!

She got married last year and just in early January her & her new hubby were in Jackson Hole for a short get a way from the daily grind.

 

While snowboarding, she started having some health issues — extremely unusual for a young girl of her age & health status. Chest pains that stopped her in her tracks, as well as other significant symptoms. Ski Patrol took her down the mountain & immediately to the hospital. After a quick eval extensive testing and seeing how bad she was struggling, they called for “life flight” and flew her into Idaho Falls Hospital. Fortunately one of the best cardio hospitals in the area. They lost her once on the flight, but were able to get her back before they landed in Idaho Falls. After an emergency procedure and a stent being installed, they stabilized her & have been making great progress ever since.

 

She has insurance, but cases like this are very expensive, require a multiplicity of tests & etc., and “life flight”, — well that’s a whole other issue? She works hard as a full time nurse & her husband works too. This kinda complicates her ability to get back to work anytime soon & recovery is critical. She was able to come back home just this week.

How crazy that such things can happen in your early twenties. She is now resting and healing and going through the process of figuring out how this could happen & how to fix it and move on with life? In the mean time, the bills keep coming & her job is waiting for her to get healthy & return safely.

 

She is an amazing person & hopefully you can find it in your heart to help them out in any way you can and if your not in a position to help, then please pray for them and a speedy resolve to their struggles!
