Dear friends and family,

It is with a heavy heart to share the tragic news of Jesse’s passing. Jesse was a beloved friend, family member, who was tragically killed October 16th on his 19th birthday.

Jesse was a talented, creative and ambitious 19 year old studying computer science at the University of Stellenbosch.

He leaves behind 4 siblings (Aaron, Josh, Lara, and Jonathan) along with his mother Michele. Being a single mom, we are looking for your support as sudden and untimely death has left us all in shock and grief.

As myself (Bianca - Jesse's cousin) and family (Jesse's aunt Marika and uncle Fritz) come together to support one another during this difficult time, we are also faced with the unexpected financial burden of funeral expenses and other costs associated with this heartbreaking loss.

We have created this GoFundMe campaign to honor Jesse’s memory and to help alleviate some of the financial stress on the family. Your generous contributions will go towards covering funeral costs, memorial services, and any additional expenses that arise.
