Julian Edney

Today I had to say goodbye one of my closest friends, Gary Edney, who lost his battle with liver cancer. Gary was a 35 year old man who was strong, proud, and a gentle soul. He was one of the best people I have ever met in my crazy life and I was truly blessed to be able to call him a friend.

In the midst of his battle with cancer, and 3 months ago today, he was hit with the unexpected death of his fiance Lauren Segreto. She was a healthy 30 year old woman with her whole life ahead of her, none of it made sense. 

These two people that touched my life so deeply leave behind a beautiful 3 year old son named Julian. It breaks my heart when I think of this awesome little boy that lost both his mother in a three month period. His entire life thrown up in the air with no rational explanation. It’s a tragedy that can not be explained.

He is in for a rough road as he faces life today and for the rest of his life without the love of his parents.
