Hello all, the family and friends of Catherine Bonsol have created this fundraiser to support her recovery from suffering an unforeseen heart attack.

Early Monday morning, Catherine was found unresponsive and in cardiac arrest. CPR was performed and after three attempts she was resuscitated and brought to the local hospital. She is currently intubated in the ICU where she continues to suffer from seizures. Her preliminary diagnosis is Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy (a type of heart failure) brought on possibly by a recent covid diagnosis a few weeks ago.

Her family and friends rushed from Las Vegas to be with her during this time of weakness and sickness to lend her strength.

Catherine Bonsol is currently a travel nurse in Placerville, California. Being away from her children, family and friends were not easy for Cathy, but it was a dream of hers to travel. She has gained a great appreciation for meeting new people and seeing new sights.

Catherine, Cat, Sis, or Mama is the pristine example of a woman who carries herself through life with compassion, tenderness, and selflessness. Being the mother of three, Cathy sacrificed and toiled towards giving her son and daughters a life full of love and solace. While raising her children, as well as supporting her parents, Cathy put herself through years of school to claim the title of Nurse Practitioner. She put forth the same care and support for her patients day in and night out; becoming a pillar of her community. Catherine’s family, friends, and associates would all tell you that Cathy is a bright light in their lives, always bringing warmth and joy.
