Nick needs help!

Hi, it's Chris...Nick's "Big Bro" as he calls me. We Fabian's are a proud group and often don't ask for help. Unfortunately, that has changed last week when Nick suffered a stroke on December 15th. Early last year, he was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm that has been difficult to rectify. On the 14th doctors inserted a stent for the third time, and like the first two procedures things went without a hitch. After keeping him overnight for observations, they sent him home. Thursday night he was feeling “off” and a little dizzy, so he decided to try and sleep it off. Friday morning came, and he struggled to focus on his phone, stumbled to his feet, and after some back and forth with my Dad and his doctor, called 911. Things could have been much worse, and thankfully they aren’t. While he’s not out of the woods yet, his anxiety is creeping in because he’s got a long road back to health and we don’t know if his last procedure will successfully address the original aneurysm there are a lot of unknowns. He is going to require months of rehab and without the ability to drive, he won’t be able to work…his job is to drive to Erie every day. As his “Big Bro” if I could take care of everything myself I would in a second! The best I can do is ask all of you to help out my young-at-heart, kind-souled, above-average Yinzer sports fan as much as you can. He requested I use the picture of him and my Mom and I like to think she’s looking down and keeping an eye on him!
