Help The Woodliff Family Fight Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Donna was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. For those of you that know her, know that she is an EXTRAORDINARY human being. She is loving, caring, smart, cheerful, unbelievably strong and always puts her family and friends first.
Since she was diagnosed she has met with the oncologist, had the first of many biopsies, blood work, lymph node biopsy, ct scan, echocardiogram, PET scan, the list goes on etc...
It was then determined that Donna would have to have a double mastectomy with removal of some lymph nodes. This was only the beginning of many more demanding treatments including chemo.
Everything was checking out good since 2015 until this July 2019 when her cancer marker numbers were high and she had more scans and tests that showed the cancer has metastasized. Metastasis is the spread of cancer cells to new areas of the body, often by way of the lymph system or bloodstream. A metastatic cancer, or metastatic tumor, is one that has spread from the primary site of origin, or where it started, into different areas of the body.
In Donna's case it has spread to her ribs, spine and liver. She is now in stage 4 breast cancer but in different locations in her body which means more treatments including chemo. Donna is going to beat this and I would like for her to use all her strength to fight this.
Donna has a heart of gold and would do anything to help out any one of us in our time of need. So I'm asking at this vulnerable time in her life that we rally behind her as she takes on this fight. Every penny and every prayer counts. A little goes a long way and can help alleviate the stress of monetary issues.
