Stroke association

Hi, my name is Michael and I am the husband of Margaret who 20 months ago suffered a severe stroke to the centre of her brain. She is paralysed down her right side and although she tries very hard she is unable to speak, sometimes her words are clear but it's mainly slurred. We have a Physio calling twice a week and carers coming in every day to help with Margaret. As I'm getting over a cancer operation I find it hard to care for her, but I do my best. The problem we have is that the care we have to pay for is approx 2500€ a month and quite frankly we do not have that amount of income coming in, so every month our money slowly disappears. I feel embarrassed to ask for donations but needs must, if any proceeds are left in the account after this trauma, it will be given to our local Stroke association. Any larger donations will be returned with interest to you when we are able to sell the property, but that will depend on Margarets progress.
