Olen Whittington Funeral Expenses

Hi! My name is Robin Sewell. I am setting up this fund in favor of my Dad and Mom. My dad was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. He is a US Veteran and has seeked help and assistance from the VA. It took the VA 2 years to diagnose my dad correctly after several misdiagnoses. He is not able to care for himself at all. My mom is his caregiver. His heath is declining rapidly. The VA has denied them for disability, benefits and improvements to their home to make it handicap accessible. On top of that, they are living off of Social Security alone. They barely make it financially. My mom was involved in a wreck 4 months ago and totaled her car. Therefore, leaving them with no transportation. It is taking everything out of my poor mom. She had to learn how to take care of bills, my dad, etc. This is not a position she has been in before since my dad always took care of bills and finances. They have been dealt many bad hands. I hate seeing them go through this and have no help. As a Veteran, my dad shouldn't have to fight for VA benefits. He has earned them! Unfortunately, it's not working that way. They need all the help they can get with medical bills, financial debts, etc. My parents are great, christian people that always try to see the best in every situation. In this case, that is getting harder and harder to do with each passing day since my dad is going down hill so rapidly. If you can find it in your heart to help them, anything would be appreciated!
