Hello dear friends!
Back in June, Kenny was diagnosed with cancer. He chose to go to CHIPSA Hospital, which offers integrative treatment (such as low-dose chemo) along with immunotherapy. Because hospitals in the U.S. don’t treat cancer through nutrition, CHIPSA is just across the border in Tijuana, Mexico. Since mid-June, Kenny has spent 9 weeks there. The treatments have gone extremely well; Kenny is definitely a healthier man than he was in June — much healthier than the oncologist here in the U.S. said was possible. In fact, according to his physician, the cancer activity in his body has decreased by 80 percent!
It’s time for a “booster” session at CHIPSA in a continued attempt to get the cancer into full remission.
These past seven months, God has been so gracious, and money has come in steadily. God even sent an anonymous donor who has paid a lot of Kenny’s hospital expenses. However, the treatments Kenny does when he's at home are expensive, and his CHIPSA doctor is recommending certain immunotherapy treatments during his upcoming trip that are also very costly. (As you might guess, since they’re integrative, they aren’t covered by insurance; yet it's been proven that they're working so we feel strongly that Kenny should receive them.)
This is why I’m once again asking every person who’s been touched by Kenny’s life to consider giving whatever you can to lift our financial burden so Kenny can get the help he needs. (Also, please continue to pray for us! — and share this campaign so we can get the word out quickly.)
Kenny is leaving in just a few days (Jan. 5) for another 3 weeks at CHIPSA. As always, we know that God is bigger than cancer, and we’re trusting Him completely.
Thank you, we love you!
