In Loving Memory of Ashley Williams
Donation protected
Ashley was a 20-year-old psychology major attending James Madison University from Williamsburg, VA. She was known for her ability to put a smile on anyone's face, her unwavering kindness to all, and her infectious energy that spanned from dancing around the room to spontaneous adventures with her friends and loved ones. She was infinitely inclusive and worked hard to make sure the people around her knew they always had a cheerleader and someone on their side. She was a constant source of love and humor. These defining qualities lead Ashley to be a pillar in organizations such as Kappa Alpha Theta and Relay for Life.
On June 14th, Ashley was in a tragic accident that claimed her life while on a trip to North Carolina. Although her earthly time may have come to an end, her memory will carry on forever. Three years ago, Ashley recovered from an eating disorder, and in her memory, her family has created the Ashley's Heart For Recovery Fund. This initiative provides financial assistance/support to families seeking Eating Disorder Treatment. In this time of grief, it is critical for people to come together in love and support. If you're inclined to help memorialize Ashley and help support other individuals working through Eating Disorders, please consider donating to either @AshleysHeartForRecovery on Venmo or this gofundme, of which all proceeds will go towards Ashley's Heart For Recovery. Ashley's effervescence and vibrancy were undeniable. Williams family, our hearts are with you in this time.
