Hello
My name is Ashley Harris. I am writing this for my son Alex Harris. Alex is currently in Kings College Hospital London. He has A.L.L Leukemia and my wife Linda and I have been told short of a miracle he has days to live at most a week , two weeks if we are lucky.
We are realistic about what is going to happen and would like to give our son the send off he deserves. My son is my hero. he recently turned 30years old in hospital but inside is a frightened teenager who has struggled with autism or more precisely Asperger's all his life. He lost his younger brother Cameron when he was 3 who passed away at Great Ormond Street children's hospital but he still kept smiling. He loves history especially the Titanic and honoring Remembrance Day each year for all those that died to protect us in 2 world wars.
But his greatest passion has been and always will be Dr Who and his two favorites David Tennant and Tom Baker. As I said my son is my Hero and a far better person than I will ever be.
I found out writing this that my son passed away an hour ago. He is now at peace, in no pain and I would like to think he is with his brother on some great adventure or failing that God has taken him because he is needed elsewhere. I dont know how this works but my wife and I have decided anything left or over the target will go to leukemia UK and Great Ormond Street Hospital. I know he will be missed by so many people
Thank you to anyone who helps Ashley and Linda Harris
