Jaxson Strong!

Hi, my name is Karen Schaefer and many of you have come to know our little Superman. Many of you have wanted to help.

 

Jaxson (my great-nephew) was born in June with a rare genetic disorder. He has a heart defect that requires several surgeries. His first was when he was five days old and his second was last week. Since this previous surgery, he has been struggling with setback after setback, and he is likely to remain in Duke Hospital for longer than we initially thought. Jaxson needs his mom 24x7, but my niece Katie struggles with needing to work to pay expenses. We also don’t know what path this journey will take as the condition is rare.

 

Jaxson’s journey has brought him into the hearts of so many people. You’ve been watching his story. Now, I'm asking you to be a part of his story.  Please join us in raising funds to help Katie be a full-time mom to precious Jaxson.
