hi all,

i feel horrible even writing this, but here goes-

i just lost my job, which has blindsided me completely. i'm feeling gutted, betrayed, and so, so anxious about what comes next, especially navigating the current state of the world and economy as a lesbian woman of colour. what makes this even harder is that i just uprooted my life and moved across the country.

i'm staring at rent and bills and student debt with no clear way to keep up while i look for another job. so, here i am.

if you’ve ever found comfort or joy in my stories, and you’re in a position to help, i would be endlessly grateful for any support. everything will go toward keeping me afloat while i job hunt. if you can’t donate, even sharing this makes a huge difference. i wasn’t at all expecting to find myself in this position, and i know times are tough for everyone; no part of me feels entitled or expects help, but i’m deeply thankful for any kindness you’re able to show.
