Ellie in Miami

I am raising money for my brother Jon and his family and their beautiful baby Ellie. Ellie was born with a cranial cyst in the right temporal lobe of her brain that stopped the development of that love causing her to be blind and a lot of other neurological issues. Recently they were referred to a doctor in Miami, Florida. Who is the best in the world when it comes to neurological brain disorders. They left Tuesday with Ellie and there other children. When they got there they found out things were much worse than expected. There is a pocket of fluid that leaked out of her skull pressing on the shunt and making her uncomfortable and will eventually cause the shunt to malfunction. They also think her shunt cord is clogged and not draining the fluid from her brain to her abdomen. The doctors in Miami said Cardinal Glennon has diagnosed Ellie wrong this whole time. Miami surgeons have done a lot of their own tests and some test Glennon wouldn’t do. Mom and Dad are waiting for results from all the tests to figure out what the next step is, but Ellie will most likely have surgery and they have no idea how long they will be in FL. Obviously being in Miami and staying in hotels and eating is very expensive for a long period of time for anyone especially for a young family of 6. When released they are going to have to travel back for her check ups/procedures. If you can help in anyway our family would greatly appreciate it.
