I am a 52 year old mother who has suffered two strokes in the last three weeks that have left my left arm partially paralyzed. As a result, my doctor has deemed this a permanent disability. Without rehab, I will not be able to return to work. At this time, because I do not have health insurance, I do not qualify for occupational/physical therapy; I am attempting to rehab independently at home. haveI filed for disability but have not yet received confirmation on if I qualify.
