Hi, my name is Eric Dahlstrom, I’m fundraising for my “Fight with Cancer”.

On March 24, 2023, I was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer. The initial plan was surgery and maybe some radiation. When I went in for surgery, it was determined that the tumor was too big and sitting too low in my colon to be operable. At this point, I was told that I would need 2 months of Radiation and 4 months of chemo to hopefully shrink the tumor before surgery could be done successfully. My oncologist recommended that I get a second opinion, so now I am starting the entire process over at Anschutz Medical Campus. I go in on May 17 for an MRI and to meet with a new Oncologist to determine a treatment plan.

On top of all this, I had been out of work with a broken bone in my left foot. And a spiral fracture of my tibia and fibula and ankle that required surgery. I am using short term disability, but it covers very little and is about to expire. I work in the Fire Sprinkler trade and am unable to work while all of this is going on. I need help with all of the medical expenses piling up and my day to day bills and expenses that, unfortunately, are piling up.
