Hello, I am so happy you are here and reading this! I am trying to bring some magic of Christmas to a family I know that really REALLY could use some. My friend is a single mom of three boys, all under the age of 9. She is hands down the most amazing mom I have ever had the privledge of meeting. She shows her boys so much love and kindness, teaching them what it means to be there and support those who matter to you, teaching them to value themselves and know their worth, she validates their feelings and helps them process emotions that may be confusing..I could go on and on about what I have seen first hand. She is so much younger than me, but I could honestly learn some things from her on parenting. She is just an incredible human being. That being said, she does all of those things while hiding her own struggles and worries from her children. She doesn't let them see the sleepless nights of crying quietly with worry how to keep pushing on. I am saying all of this to show how deserving she is of receiving some help.

Recently, her family relocated to another state. (Very far from here!) She has no one here, no support, no "village" and feels like she is doing this all on her own. Her family is a call or text away, but it's just not the same. She has been struggling financially, trying her best to manage and push through silently. Well, it has finally caught up to her and she is in a very bad position right now, and honeslty it breaks my heart to see how this is crushing her in every way possible. It is taking a toll on her mental health. Facing the very real possibility of homelessness is lierally around the corner, as she is short for rent this month, and her landlord has run out of patience. Christmas is in two weeks. She is struggling to keep food in her house and gas in her car. That doesnt even touch the idea of Santa not stopping by their home and leaving presents under their tree. This is weighing very heavy on my heart, and I have to do SOMETHING. She has reached out to several agencies and local organizations for assistance and is hitting a wall at every turn. So here is my last ditch effort to not only save Christmas for this very sweet, deserving little family- but to save her home for the next month, and give some room to breath. We need to provide the "villiage" that every kid deserves to have support them. I know it can be done. I have seen amazing things come from small communities in a moment of need. And this is a NEED. She is such a kind, supportive member of this community, and anyone who has kids that have played sports with hers KNOWS this. She shows up; for her kids, for her community. And now it's time for her community to show up for HER. Please help me raise the funds to cover her rent for this month, (she is short) and for January. To give her a moment to sit this heavy weight down, and enjoy the holidays with her boys, and get things in order going forward. Please, I am asking for some Christmas Magic be shown to this wonderful woman and her three very deserving sons. I have also asked her to create wish lists on amazon for christmas, as well as one for food/pantry/household items to help her stock up and keep their bellies full. If you cannot afford to donate (although even 5 bucks is a huge help!!) Please share and bring this to as many people as possible.
