Help After Devastating House Fire

Hi, my name is Kathryn and I created this fundraiser for financial help to get us back on our feet after this devastating fire. We're going to be up in the air for sometime as repairs are being made on the house. There was a lot of smoke damage and some water damage inside. Carpet is going to need to be redone, the walls and ceiling repainted, the attic gutted and repaired, fixtures replaced, everything else deep cleaned as well as the garage rebuilt. Everything inside the house that can absorb the smoke smell, including clothing, bedding and furniture will need thrown away and replaced.

The nephews and my husband were working on and repairing the snowmobiles in the garage and had a heater going to keep them warm, as well as to melt the ice and snow off the snowmobiles. A little fuel spilled from one of the gas tanks and mixed with the water, which made its way to the heater causing it to go up in flames almost immediately. Within 4 minutes the entire garage and the truck was all ablaze.

Two of the boys got burned a little. One has second degree burns on his leg and ankle, but everyone else got out of the house and are so so grateful that we are all ok. My sister's truck which she used heavily for work, is sadly a total loss.

The funds will be used to help us get food, pay for the medical bills for the boys that got burned, find lodging for the undetermined future as well as to help replace everything that was lost.
