Hi All, my name is Kimmy Tuttle and I am trying to raise money (and awareness) for a particular victim of the Caldor Fire, my grandmother, Mary Tuttle. For those of you that don’t know, the Caldor Fire has burned over 200,000 acres in the South Lake Tahoe / El Dorado Forest region of Northern California. 500 homes have burned and more than 40,000 people have evacuated the area. My grandma’s home unfortunately burned to the ground, along with her local church, and several buildings in her small community. She and my late grandfather bought this home 22 years ago and along with the tangible items in the home, she is losing countless memories of them together. No amount of money can replace the sentimental items lost to the fire, but it can help her and my aunt (who lives with my grandma) get back on their feet. The money I am raising will go to my grandma and my aunt to help pay for essential items as they find their new way of life. Anything helps and they will be greatly appreciative of any support sent their way.
